Status
Is Vaitly Voice working right now?
Vaitly Voice turns speech into text on your Mac, so dictation keeps working whatever the state of our servers. This page checks the few parts that do live online: the licensing API, downloads, account sign-in and payments.

Limits and the privacy boundary
The checks above run from your browser, not from our servers, so a strict network or an extension that blocks cross-site requests can stop a check without meaning the service is down; the page says so rather than guessing. Nothing about you is sent by these checks. Standard dictation never touches the licensing API while you speak; audio stays on the Mac. See the security page for what the app stores and where.
Questions
Does Vaitly Voice stop working if the licensing API is down?
No. Dictation runs entirely on your Mac and does not talk to our servers while you speak. If the API is unreachable, you keep dictating; the app simply cannot refresh your plan or sign you in until it is back.
What happens to my license if the API is unreachable?
License checks are cached on the Mac. Vaitly Voice keeps using the last plan it confirmed, so a short outage on our side does not lock you out of Pro features or your weekly allowance.
Which parts of Vaitly Voice need the network at all?
Downloading the app and the speech model on first run, creating or signing in to an account, buying or moving a plan, refreshing your license, and any cloud transform provider you configure yourself. Everything else, including recognition and history, is local.
