What never leaves the device
Audio, transcripts, history, vocabulary and snippets. Recognition runs locally. There is no upload for standard dictation, and no account is needed to dictate.
What an account stores
If you subscribe: email, plan, payment references from Stripe, a device identifier and aggregate weekly word counts. Numbers, not words.
The one thing to check
Transforms are local by default. If you connect a cloud model with your own API key, the transform that uses it is labelled in the interface. Leave that off for confidential work and nothing goes anywhere.
